About GACC, Sami

Government Arts & Commerce College Sami is situated in the Vadhiyar region of North Gujarat. It has good infrastructure having all the need of an academic institution. The College is established in 2009 by the Government of Gujarat to educate the down pressed communities in such a remote area. The main purpose of our institute is to promote the students for social, economic, educational and cultural progress.

In the Initial years the college was started in Anupama Primary Girls School, Mujpur road Sami. At present the college has a new building constructed in 2013 as a Model College from grants of central and state Government. The college has both Bachelors of Arts and Bachelors of Commerce programmes affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. In the Arts stream Gujarati, English, History, Sociology and Economics are the main subjects and Accountancy is the main subject in B.Com. The college is totally under the administrative control of the Higher Education Department that frames all the policies and modalities regarding the functioning of the college.
